Patsy Camp Jackson Tn Obituary

Patsy White Camp, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, after a long illness.

Patsy was a life-long resident of Jackson where she attended city schools. She graduated from Jackson High School and later finished her education at Lambuth College where she studied art and interior design. She and Chuck were active members of First United Methodist Church. Patsy was active in many organizations serving on numerous committees. She was a member of the Tennessee Arts Commission, eventually serving as its chair.

Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Camp, Jr.; parents, Stanford and Helen White; parents in law, Bob and Camp and Virginia Camp Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Bobby Camp.

She leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Chuck Camp; her daughter, Charissa Camp; sister, Barbara Long (Noel); and brother, Erwin White (Mary Alice).

The family is thankful for the many friends, the constant care of nurses, aids and staff at The Arbors, and the good care provided by the nighttime help.

A private graveside service to celebrate the life of Patsy Camp will be held on Friday, September 3, 2025, at Highland Memorial Gardens for her immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Patsy’s memory be directed either to First United Methodist Church or to Jackson Arts Council.
