Doctor talks importance of maintaining metabolic health
JACKSON, Tenn. — There’s a summer spotlight on metabolic health as doctors offer tips for maintaining a healthy metabolism.
Summer is season of making healthier choices. Whether you’re eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, spending more time outdoors being active, or simply reducing stress by taking a vacation–many people feel their best during the summer.
As the season winds down, it’s a good time to think about how to maintain a wellness routine all year, and that includes a focus on metabolic health.
“Metabolic health is really important. Follow, basically, a nutrition philosophy, if you want, of a wellness philosophy. You’re getting your, let’s say, fiber, the right amount of protein in your diet, hydration, all. The things that you need, healthy carbohydrates,” said Dr. Luigi Gratton, vice president for the Office of Health and Wellness at Herbalife.
Consumers are also increasingly seeking clean-label, plant-based, science-backed supplements supporting their metabolism, energy, and healthy body composition.
With rising consumer awareness, demand is growing for products that address overall well-being.
