13th annual Vivian Bell Scholarship Luncheon held at Lane
JACKSON, Tenn.—A special scholarship luncheon returns to the campus of Lane College.
The Jackson City Federation of Colored Women’s and Youth Clubs Inc. hosted its annual Vivian Bell Scholarship Luncheon Saturday afternoon.
The event took place beginning at noon on campus at Lane College’s Kirkendoll Student Center.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful event with delicious food and a message from special keynote speaker Circuit Court Judge Gina C. Higgins.
Also at the event a $500 check was presented to Lane College from the JCF Foundation of CWYC and a $750 check was presented to Landon Cole as a scholarship recipient.
This is the 13th year for the organization’s Vivian Bell Scholarship Luncheon to be held here in Jackson.
