$1.787 Billion Powerball Jackpot Won in Texas & Missouri
STATEWIDE – While the massive Powerball jackpot of $1.787 billion was won last night in Texas and Missouri, thousands of Tennessee players had fun and won prizes, all while raising valuable dollars for education in the state.
Winners of note from last night’s drawing include five $50,000 winners and one $100,000 winner.
Details of their wins:
Five players matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $50,000. Those winning tickets were purchased at:
- Moss One Stop, 7996 Clay County Hwy. in Moss
- Thorntons, 300 Sam Ridley Pkwy. E. in Smyrna
- State Line Jackpots, 27185 Main St. in Ardmore
- Weigel’s 208 Hwy. 68 in Sweetwater
- Circle K, 6224-A Hixson Pk. in Hixson
One player won $100,000 by matching four numbers plus the Powerball and adding Power Play, which doubled their $50,000 prize since the Power Play number drawn was two. That ticket was purchased at: Publix, 1111 Gallatin Ave. in Nashville
