Jackson International Food and Art Festival returns Sept. 27

JACKSON, Tenn. — A conference was held Monday morning in the lobby of the Jackson City Hall to announce the 11th annual Jackson International Food and Art Festival.

The Jackson International Food and Art Festival (JIFAF) will be held Saturday, September 27 at the Jackson Fairgrounds at 800 S. Highland Avenue. Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The mission of JIFAF is to spread cultural awareness, promote cross-cultural engagement, and celebrate the diverse background of residents throughout West Tennessee.

JIFAF serves as a place where the community celebrates our unity and shares our culture, art and traditional performances.

“I think today is the last day to register for the vendors. And we still have openings for the parade if people want to participate in the parade they still have a chance to participate,” said Eduardo Morales, co-chair for JIFAF.

Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
