Billboard honoring Charlie Kirk seen in Jackson, memorial to take place Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn. — A digital billboard honoring Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk has been put up at the intersection of Highway 45 Bypass and Old Humboldt Road.

Kirk was a prominent voice of conservative and Christian principles. He created the three hour radio talk show called “The Charlie Kirk Show” in 2020 and was the host until his death.

Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.

A candlelight memorial honoring Kirk is set for Saturday night at the courthouse square in Jackson at 6:30 p.m.
