Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department now Madison County Health
PRESS RELEASE FROM MADISON COUNTY HEALTH:
JACKSON-MADISON COUNTY REGIONAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT NOW MADISON COUNTY HEALTH
The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has officially adopted a new name and visual identity. The organization will now be known as Madison County Health, a change designed to simplify communication and emphasize the department’s central mission: promoting and protecting the health of the entire community.
“This updated name reflects what we’ve always been here to do — protect and promote the health of all who live in, work in or visit Madison County,” said Shanna Wilbanks, Regional Director of Madison County Health. “It’s a simplified name with a stronger focus on the work that matters most: your health.”
The department’s services and programs will remain the same. Community members can continue to expect the same trusted care, support, and public health leadership they’ve always received.
Alongside the new name, Madison County Health is introducing a new logo and tagline: Your Health. Our Mission.
“Our new tagline says it all. Everything we do—every service, every program, every outreach effort—is driven by one purpose: protecting and improving the health of our community. Your well-being isn’t just part of our work—it’s truly our mission,” said Wilbanks.
Madison County Health continues to serve not only the residents of Madison County, but also the thousands of individuals who travel to the area each day for work, school, or care. The rebranding is simply a step toward clearer, more consistent communication with the people it serves.
