TN4ARTS Appoints Dr. Delita Johnson, Jackson, TN to Board of Directors

NASHVILLE, TN – TN4ARTS, Tennessee’s grassroots organization dedicated to expanding and supporting funding for the arts across the state, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Delita Johnson to its board of directors. As Executive Director of the Jackson Arts Council, Dr. Johnson brings extensive experience in arts administration and business development to the organization. She will be an invaluable asset as TN4ARTS continues its mission to support and strengthen Tennessee’s creative sector.

TN4ARTS works to champion the arts through strategic state level advocacy, supporting the critical specialty license plate program which provides approximately 80% of the funds granted to nonprofit organizations by the Tennessee Arts Commission.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Delita Johnson to our board,” said Bryce McDonald, President of the TN4ARTS Board and Executive Director of the Cumberland County Playhouse. “Her leadership at the Jackson Arts Council and her strong business background make her a valuable asset. She will bring fresh perspectives and a deep understanding of how the arts impact economic development in Jackson and across the state. We know she’ll be a passionate advocate and help us continue our vital work throughout all of Tennessee.”

Dr. Delita Johnson has served as the Executive Director of the Jackson Arts Council since 2024. With over 20 years of experience in business development, she holds a doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Social Impact Management.
