MVP of The Week Duece Lawrence

It’s time for your MVP of the week and it will go to Duece Lawrence
running back for the Jackson Christian school. This past Friday his performance
led the eagles to a 40-10 victory over Saint
George. He had 12 rushes for 151 yards and pulled off
the hat trick with 3 touchdowns. Now he has been putting these types
of performances on all season which is why they
are 4-0. Duece has a nice fineesee to his game to where
you can’t quite get a hand on him and he can manipulate
the defense in between the tackles.The UT Martin commit
models his game after NFL running back for the Atlanta falcons
Bijan Robinson. Which if you have seen Bijan play you can see the
similarity with Duece shiftiness and elusiveness. So you know we caught
up with Mr Lawrence himself at practice and he spoke about his play
on Friday, what makes him great and his goal for the season. Take a listen.

“I feel like my team and my brothers really just help me out throughout the whole time im getting my stats i feel like that with my speed i feel like can’t nobody just keep up with me really and i feel like my line just allow me just open up holes to run through it. I’m hoping to get probably 2,000 through out
the whole career but if it come up short it’s just what it is.”

As far as this Friday goes he said he would like to run for
200 yards against Fayette academy on Friday at 7:00 pm at home.
