Peggy Morrison

Peggy Morrison, 77, of Union City went home to be with the Lord 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Sunday at First United Pentecostal Church in Union City. Pastor Paul Ray Cagle will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at First United Pentecostal Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Peggy was born July 6, 1948, in Dyer County, daughter of the late L.B. and Suzie (Hollis) Harris. She had been employed at the former Salant & Salant, was a caregiver for the elderly and children and was a homemaker. Peggy was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

She is survived by her husband, David Morrison of Union City; two sons, Sammie Morris (Marcie) of Rives and John “Pee Wee” Konkol (Dana) of South Fulton; one daughter, Cathy Bevis (Clifford) of Dyersburg; one stepson, Tim Morrison (Deena) of Fulgham, Kentucky; one step daughter, Victoria Council of South Fulton; three sisters, Lucille Rasberry of Union City, Linda Crain of Hornbeak and Judy Lane Miland of Anchorage, Alaska; five brothers, Paul Harris of Memphis, Tom Harris of Martin, Ronnie B. Harris of Camden and Paul Edward Harris and Johnny Harris both of Dyersburg; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Morris; one daughter, Marcy Morris; two sisters, Minnie Gray and Angie Sharp; and one brother, Wiley Harris.
