9th annual Fallen Aviator show to support student scholarship funds
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee National Guard is preparing for a big weekend ahead here in the Hub City.
The Army Aviation Association of America is kicking off their 9th Fallen Aviator, Car, Truck, Bike Show, and Fly In.
It will be taking place Saturday, September 27 from 8am to 2:30pm. Admission for the fallen aviator event is $20 located at the army aviation support flight facility at the Jackson Regional Airport.
Guests can expect a silent auction, gun raffles, door prizes, food vendors, military trucks, helicopters, games, live music, and photography.
All proceeds go to scholarship funds named in honor of the seven fallen aviators of the Tennessee Army National Guard.
“[The] Scholarship is up to $1,000, so anyone that’s planning on attending school or in school currently we keep it in house to the state of Tennessee. The state of tennessee offers the scholarships first and if seven don’t get pushed out to Tennessee, it goes across the rest of America,” said Lee Rogers, .
