Le Bonheur to host annual ‘Pumpkin Run’ fundraiser to support children in need
JACKSON, Tenn. — Residents from across West Tennessee are invited to a special event to help support children in need.
On October 4, Le Bonheur will host their annual Pumpkin Run fundraiser. Kids can participate in a free 400 meter fun run that will start at 8 am.
The Pumpkin Run 5K, which is $30, will begin at 8:30am, and everyone can sign up for the race online ahead of time. Organizers ask that those interested sign up beforehand, though it isn’t required.
Those who participate will also receive a special ribbon.
“Jackson is a running city! And there’s tons of races for all different events and causes so we just are glad that families can come out to have a race to support Le Bonheur Children’s,” said Syrena Flowers, regional development specialist at Le Bonheur Children’s Outpatient Center.
In-person race day registration will take place at 7 am. To register online, click here.
