Fairview Baptist Church celebrates 138 years
JACKSON, Tenn. — One West Tennessee church marked a huge milestone.
Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson held a celebration in honor of the church’s 138th anniversary.
The two-day event, held September 20-21, began with Friends & Family Day on Saturday, featuring community fellowship, activities, food, and more.
On Sunday, members gathered for worship, and heard from guest speaker Dr. Ransey O’Daniel, Pastor of Christ Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Members say this milestone is not only a celebration of the church’s history, but also a reflection of the faith, resilience, and community spirit that have carried them through generations.
