Man arrested after breaking into Paris liquor store

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE PARIS POLICE DEPARTMENT:

PARIS, Tenn. — A Carroll County man is in jail today after allegedly breaking into a local liquor store. Paris Police officers responded to a burglar alarm at The Loft Wine and Spirits on Mineral Wells Avenue, shortly after 5 am this morning, to find that the glass front door had been busted out.

There was a concrete block lying on the floor of the business which appeared to be what was used to smash the glass. Officers began to check the area around the business and heard a man and woman’s voice coming from the wooded area behind the store.

Officers went into the woods and contacted Bryan Jackson and an unnamed female. While speaking with Jackson, he did admit to breaking into the business and taking three bottles of liquor. Video from the business did confirm that Jackson was the culprit.

Jackson was arrested and charged with Burglary and Vandalism. He is being held in the Henry County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
