MVP of The Week Mckenzie Cole Brown

MVP of The Week Cole Brown

It’s time we kick things off with our MVP of the week and  for that we have to go to
McKenzie. Because it will be Cole Brown Quarterback for the Rebels. He helped lead the
Rebels to victory over Camden Central on Friday night
with a final of 50 to 14. One way he did that was through the air
having 15 of 23 completions , 240  passing yards and three touchdowns
and on the ground 10 carries for 62 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
We must also talk about his determination  being that he made the transition
this offseason from wide receiver to quarterback. So far the move is paying
off with McKenzie winning four straight games and averaging forty points a matchup.
His dual threat ability creates so many problems for defenses and his confidence
grows every game. We caught up with him at practice and he talked about last
week’s performance, moving from wideout to quarterback, and what he has
to do to keep his team winning.

You know coach Hodge set up a great offensive game plan and my lineman they block well and my receivers caught the ball and they helped me execute. In the offseason it was tough going from wide receiver to quarterback you know coach Hodge he helped me alot and just coming up here on Saturdays throwing help me for this season. I gotta be a leader, gotta stay composed and if we have to face adversity just face it.”
Cole also went on to say it would  be cool to make all state and win Mr football
but his main goal is a state championship.
To catch him and the rebels in action they hit
the road to face off with Chester county on
Friday at 7:00 pm.
