Hub City BBQ Fest set for October 3-4

HUB CITY BBQ FEST TO BE HELD IN JACKSON
October 3-4, 2025

The 2025 Hub City BBQ Fest will be held on October 3-4, 2025, in Jackson, TN!!!  Join us in Downtown Jackson and watch BBQ competitors from all over the country vie for over $14,000 in prize money.  

The Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) sanctioned cook-off event will be held on Lafayette Street in Downtown Jackson alongside the Jacob Barker Music Fest at the AMP, which is a long-standing fund raiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  There will be live music Friday and Saturday nights, along with food trucks and vendors.

Ancillary Contests Open to the Public

On Friday night, there are three ancillary contests held which are open to the public to participate.  There is the Kids Que (hamburgers), Dessert, and Margarita contests.  Entries must be made on-site.  Several of the professional teams participate in these contests as well.  Entry fee for the public is $10.  First place receives $50 and is announced at the awards program on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.  Sign up for these contests is at 5 p.m. on Friday at the Judges Tent.  Kids Que turn in is at 7 p.m.; dessert turn in is at 7:30 p.m., and Margarita turn-in is at 8 p.m.

BBQ Tasting:  People’s Choice – Public Food Sampling

Be sure to attend the People’s Choice event on Saturday morning!  For $10, you can sample some of the great award-winning BBQ from the Champions, then vote for your favorite!  Winners of the People’s Choice Awards will be announced at 3:30 p.m. Saturday during the competition awards.  

Admission to the BBQ grounds is Free!
