11th International Food and Art Festival returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—Highlighting cuisines from all across the globe, the International Food and Art Festival returns to the Hub City.

The Jackson Fairgrounds was filled with eager and hungry visitors Saturday as many sought to taste some unique foods and watch some amazing performances.

The festival returns with more than just food and art, as the event surveys the cultures of different countries.

There was Irish and Aztec dancing, vocal performances, and even fashion highlighted from various regions.

Many vendors were also on site with merchandise to purchase.

And the event had a special area set up for the kids. There was a drum circle, puppetry, a theatre show, and so much more.

“The International Food Festival is such a great opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together because we know as realtors that diverse communities are strong communities that have a lot to offer. So we love seeing all different kinds of people come together and enjoy food and fellowship and learn about each other so it’s a lot of fun,” said Hope Alexander and Brenda Locke, Affiliate Brokers at BHGRE Conner.

“So this is our fourth year being a corporate sponsor here at the Jackson International Art and Food Festival. Lots of good people coming out. We’re promoting home ownership, got several of my team members here and we, we really enjoy the day” said Chris Miller, Principal Broker and Owner at Crye-Leike Elite Realtors.

This is the festival’s 11th year in Jackson and it returns with a little more culture and fun each year.
