THE WEEK:

Great weather is on tap for the weekend across all of West Tennessee. In general expect sunny skies. There will be a few clouds, but not many. Also rain showers are not expected this week. Our first full week of fall will be mild with highs reaching the low to mid 80s and morning lows sticking around between 55-60°. We could warm back up to the low 90s by Tuesday. Take advantage of the weather if you like nice weather because we are not sure how many more of these nice weeks we are going to have as we get deeper into fall. The winds will come out of the northeast for a few days across the region.

THE TROPICS:

Hurricane Humberto and Tropical Storm Imelda are currently forecast to miss the mainland United States. Tropical storm conditions are no longer expected to impact the Florida Atlantic coast on Monday. It is still expected that Humberto will pull Imelda away from the shore with some help from a surface cold front that moved offshore Sunday morning. West Tennessee will likely miss out on any rainfall brought on by moisture returned from these two cyclones, meaning our drought conditions will stay steady for this week.
