11th Rotary Classic Golf Tournament begins in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Residents gathered at Jackson National Golf Club Monday for the 11th annual Rotary Classic Golf Tournament.

The tournament was sponsored by Leaders Credit Union and benefits the Rotary Scholarship Fund.

“It’s a great opportunity, appreciate the opportunity to be able to help sponsor rotary here to help with education – that’s one of our key components that we want to help sponsor in our communities, and so, the ability to sponsor something that we know goes toward raising scholarships for kids in our community is a great way for us to give back,” said Spencer Pratt, executive vice president for Leaders Credit Union.

Each year they give one senior student a scholarship from one of each local counties.
