Abundant Sunshine, Hot And Toasty
Monday, September 29 —
Good Morning West Tennessee. We start the morning off fair with temps in the upper 50s to low 60s. It won’t be that comfortable long though. We find ourselves once again in the midst of upper level blocking pattern. This will stagnate the forecast both in terms of the temperatures and a serious lack of rainfall chance. Before the weekend we had an eye on the potentially developing Tropical storm IMELDA. The storm has developed, albeit very slowly over the course of the weekend. However, in terms of the tug of war between the old eastern leg of the omega block and Hurricane HUMBERTO. The Fujiwara/binary dance will exert a greater force on IMELDA which will eventually yank the storm out to sea rather than a landfall at all. Not good news as that was probably the only decent chance of rain we had through at least Thursday next week…
