Highs Staying Well Above Normal, Rain Chances Bleak this Week!
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update:
After a very nice weekend, we saw more of the same in the weather department across West Tennessee today. Highs made it up to around 90° and most of us should hit the 90° mark on Tuesday. Highs will remain above normal all week long and lows will look to linger around 60° through the weekend. More clouds are expected in the middle of the week but rain chances are not looking great at all. The two tropical systems will look to impact each other and the hurricane will look to pull the tropical storm out to sea by the middle of the week. Catch the latest forecast information and a first look at the upcoming weekend right here.

THIS WEEK:
Plenty of sunshine and warm weather stuck around to kick off the work week in West Tennessee and get used to it this week. There was a light breeze out of the northeast keeping the humidity down and keeping the clouds and rain away today. Highs reached the upper 80s to near 90° and due to the low humidity, we should fall down to around 60° tonight.

Very similar weather is expected on Tuesday this week with highs again back up to around 90°. The winds are forecast to be light and come out of the north all day long. There will be a few clouds but not many. There will be no showers in our area on Tuesday. Tuesday night lows will fall down to the low 60s to kick off our Wednesday.

Expect a few more clouds on Wednesday drifting in the east but rain showers are not expected to develop under the clouds. Highs will still reach the upper 80s under the partly cloudy skies and the winds will come out of the east. Wednesday night lows will fall down to mid 60s due to a few more clouds lingering around.

The great weather will look to continue on Thursday with mostly sunny skies moving back in. There will be some clouds in the morning but they should move out during the day. Highs will reach the upper 80s again and the winds will be light out of the southeast by the afternoon. Rain again is not expected and Thursday night lows will drop down to around 60° as the skies clear out. Friday will be a little cooler but sunny skies are still expected. Highs will reach the mid 80s and overnight lows could fall down into the upper 50s. Friday night football looks great again and the winds will be light and staying out of the southeast.
THE WEEKEND:
Another great weekend looks to be on the way for all of West Tennessee. It will be our first weekend of October but the weather will NOT be October-like at all. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s this weekend with morning lows starting out in the upper 50s both mornings. There will be some clouds on Saturday and maybe a few more clouds on Sunday. There is an outside chance of a weak system trying to move up out of The Gulf but there is little confidence in that system impacting us as of now. The winds will be light and come out of the southeast all weekend long. We will call it a 10% chance for rain on Sunday and a 20% chance for rain next Monday, but do not get too excited, we are not expecting much if anything at all. Make some plans as we do not know how many nice weekends we are going to have left before some actual fall like weather is on the way.
