Pumpkin Village Opens this Week
Pumpkin Village Returns from October 1-31
Step into the 1800s Settlement at Discovery Park of America this fall as Pumpkin Village transforms the historic setting into a cozy autumn haven. Explore festive displays filled with pumpkins and gourds, enjoy family-friendly activities like pumpkin bowling and the corn pit. Make memories the whole family will cherish and snap the perfect fall family photo among the pumpkins and festive displays.

NOTE: Due to Discovery Park currently operating on low season hours, Pumpkin Village is CLOSED on Mondays,
Members and UTM Movie Night
There’s even more for your buck as a Discovery Park member this season! Members and University of Tennessee at Martin students, faculty, staff and their families are invited to a Halloween Night at Pumpkin Village on Thursday, Oct. 23.
Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with costume contests, pumpkin painting contests, yard games and more. The night wraps up with a special outdoor screening of Halloweentown at 6:30 p.m.
Fall Fun for All Ages at Discovery Park
October at Discovery Park is full of activities for everyone! In addition to Pumpkin Village, enjoy a variety of seasonal experiences:
- Heritage Series – Broom Making: Craft your own broom on Saturday, Oct. 4. There will be two sessions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
- Homeschool Day – Spook-O-Week: October’s Homeschool Day is all about mystery and history of Halloween.
- David Crockett Homestead & Heritage Festival: Enjoy heritage skills, crafts, live music and more at our inaugural weekend long festival from Friday, Oct. 17-Sunday, Oct. 19.
- Discovery Park STEAM Festival: October’s STEAM Saturday expands to two days of fun on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25, including a Halloween twist.
