Local business owner announces candidacy for Madison County mayor
JACKSON, Tenn. — Late last month, Samuel Bryant announced his candidacy for Madison County mayor.
According to a news release, Bryant has been a business owner in Madison County for more than 23 years with a diverse background in manufacturing, sales, residential and commercial services, and financial planning.
We talked with Bryant, who owns Samuel T. Bryant Distillery in west Madison County about his goals if elected county mayor.
“If someone wants to move a company here, I’ll be the first they interact with, so what better way to recruit a company here than with someone who’s started several companies here that have been successful,” said Bryant.
The Madison County Republican Primary Election will be held in May of next year.
