Jackson City Council meets for work session

JACKSON, Tenn. — We have details from the latest Jackson City Council work session.

Members of the Jackson City Council met at Thursday afternoon for a work session.

Key pieces on the agenda were a $125,000 settlement and funds transferring to the senior center.

Leaders were unable to disclose any information regarding the settlement or its case. As far as re-allocation of funds over to the senior center, a budget amendment of $425,000 was approved to move that money over.

“There were internal budget amendments that will not cost the city any money.” said JP Stovall, city councilperson.

Another city official called this move budget neutral.
