Local nonprofit donates volunteer hours to Youth Town
PINSON, Tenn. — One nonprofit gathered in Pinson to help provide essentials to Youth Town.
The Wes Tennessee District of Modern Woodmen spent the day supporting Youth Town residents and staff.
Volunteers provided meals for everyone on campus and they took part in hands-on service projects throughout the day.
“Our mission at Modern Woodmen is to improve the quality of life for our members and part of that is serving the communities that our members live in,” said Meredith Erlandson, development and marketing coordinator.
“They’re out here doing manual labor they’re doing power washing building, landscaping and cooking for our staff and our kids today,” said Brad Keltner, regional director for Modern Woodmen.
This initiative reflects Modern Woodmen’s ongoing commitment to serving and strengthening communities across West Tennessee.
