Shooting at Heritage Square leaves one injured

JACKSON, Tenn. A tipster alerts us to a possible shooting at Heritage Square in Jackson. We reached out to JPD for more information.
The Jackson Police Department issued the following statement regarding the incident.
Shots Fired at Heritage Square; Victim Transported to Hospital
On October 4, 2025, at 11:49 p.m., Jackson, TN police officers responded to reports of gunfire at Heritage Square. Upon arrival, officers discovered that one victim had been shot and was transported by personal vehicle to a local hospital.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left thigh, with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The circumstances surrounding the incident and the motive remain under investigation.
