Winners selected at the 2025 Hub City BBQ Fest
JACKSON, Tenn.–One delicious event comes to a close and crowns the best BBQ in the region.
The Hub City BBQ Festival ended Saturday in Jackson.
The two-day event saw the best grill masters in Tennessee in competition to see whose BBQ was worthy of awards.
Contestants battled it out in various categories to see whose BBQ tasted the best.
The event, which was held downtown, narrowed each category down to finalists and awards were presented to the overall winners.
For BBQ pulled pork, the winner selected was Memphis OG BBQ.
Winners in the brisket category included Mudville BBQ in 1st Place, Rooters-N-Tooters in 2nd, followed by Memphis OG in 3rd.
And taking the prize in the ribs competition was TN Smoke Showin’.
In the overall competition, Mudville BBQ was awarded with Grand Champion, while Rooters-N-Tooters took 2nd place and Piglitically Incorrect BBQ took 3rd.

“We’re all our here in it to be a community of cookers. People who love the sport , the community and the food. It’s always great to come together as a big group of friends and compete for a weekend. It’s always a great feeling to hear your name called, any time you can hear your name called. When it so happens to lead to a Grand Championship it’s even that much more sweeter,” said Thomas Gerhart, Pitmaster for Mudville BBQ.
