Deana Carter to take the stage in Huntingdon Friday
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A country music icon is making her way to West Tennessee.
Deana Carter is set to perform at The Dixie in Huntingdon on Friday, October 10.
“Whenever I’m in, you know, Tennessee or close by — I’m a Tennessee girl — and being in the area, in the south, is just always a privilege because I’m so grateful to be a southern girl number one,” said Carter.
The “Strawberry Wine” singer is on tour ahead of the 30th anniversary of her debut album, “Did I Shave My Legs For This?”
Carter has released seven albums throughout her career, earning three number one songs on the Billboard country charts.
“We love when people come and relive the 90s,” Carter said. “That’s the funnest part I think, is ’cause everybody’s got a memory of that time, we all do, the most formative years of our lives.”
