Crown Winery hosts fundraiser for ‘Dogs On Deployment’
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Crown Winery in Humboldt hosted a fundraiser Friday evening for the nonprofit Dogs On Deployment.
The organization helps find loving homes for pets of military personnel while they are on deployment.
Live music was provided by one of West Tennessee’s rising recording artists, Lakelin Lemmings.
Lemmings did this performance for no cost to the organization or Crown Winery.
“Dogs On Deployment helps us with boarding our dogs while we’re deployed or go to military school, or go on AT’s or if we have like what we had, a disaster of some sort, where we can’t keep our animals,” said Brent Carlson, Sgt. First Class, TN National Guard.
Carlson’s dog Nala is the 2025 mascot for Dogs On Delpoyment.
Giveaways were held periodically with prizes available such as a Smart TV, gift certificates and wine-themed items.
