Vehicle leaves roadway on S. Highland Ave., one airlifted
JACKSON, Tenn.—One individual was injured after a single vehicle accident in Jackson.
According to a WBBJ News Tipster, a wreck occurred near S. Highland Ave. that led to one person being airlifted.
The tipster tells us the vehicle was traveling in an unknown direction along South Highland Avenue and appeared to have left the roadway in the area near Perry Switch Road. The vehicle ending up below a bridge by the train tracks. The vehicle was flipped upside down and also heavily damaged.
Multiple ambulances were seen at the site of the accident as well as a medical helicopter, Jackson Fire units, police and a wrecker service.
The condition of the individual involved in that accident is unknown at this time.
