Crews contain diesel, oil spill after car hauler wreck

Yesterday [10/13], Crockett County EMA responded to a tractor trailer wreck involving a car hauler that wrecked into a creek bed.

Approximately 100 gallons of diesel and oil leaked onto the creek bed which was fortunately dry and prevented quick flow. Crockett County EMA damed the bed to prevent further flow of these containments until a cleanup crew could be dispatched.

A local company was dispatched by the trucking company for cleanup and the creek bed was pumped clean.
