Jackson Christian Fifth Grader Raises Over 3,000 Cans for RIFA as Part of Annual School Food Drive

JACKSON, Tenn. (Oct. 15, 2025) – Jackson Christian fifth-grade student Everett Webb made a remarkable impact on this year’s Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA) food drive, personally collecting and donating 3,027 cans of food to help feed those in need throughout the Jackson community.

Inspired by the mission of RIFA, Everett took the initiative to write 22 letters to friends, family members, and loved ones across Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, and Utah, asking for their support. His heartfelt outreach resulted in thousands of cans being donated to RIFA as part of Jackson Christian’s annual campaign.

Each year, the Jackson Christian community partners with Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) to support RIFA’s mission of providing food and assistance to those facing hunger in West Tennessee. Together, the two schools collected monetary and food donations equal to more than 22,009 pounds of food this year — one of the largest single drives benefiting RIFA annually.

“Students like Everett remind us what it looks like to live out our faith through action,” said Jackson Christian Director of Elementary Lindsey Bradford. “His compassion and creativity embody the heart of service we strive to inspire in every student.”

RIFA serves hundreds of families each year in the Jackson area through its food pantry, soup kitchen, and community outreach programs. Donations from schools like Jackson Christian and Trinity Christian Academy provide vital support to these efforts, especially during the holiday season.
