Missing woman seen in West Tennessee, search continues

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A Silver Alert was issued for a woman missing from Middle Tennessee, and she was spotted in a few of our towns here in West Tennessee.

Many friends, family and volunteers searched all over West Tennessee Wednesday looking for Joann McWilliams. She is 88-years-old and was last seen on October 5.

She is from the Dickson area and reportedly, she rarely leaves home.

Bank records from the day she was last seen show her going to McDonald’s and going to get gas.

Her vehicle was spotted on cameras in Paris later that day.

Family has learned that she was pulled over by law enforcement headed east on Highway 70, seemingly going back home.

However, her car was later spotted on cameras on Highway 22 headed south, and in downtown Lexington.

There have been no other sightings since then.

Her vehicle is a white 2020 Buick Encore Sport.
