Rita was such a precious soul with many hobbies and interests. She loved embroidery, admiring beautiful flowers, crossword puzzles, collecting Willow Tree figurines, as well as shopping—especially at Christmas time. She really loved Christmas. She loved every little child that came her way, especially those that she was able to care for at the daycare. Even after her retirement she would go see the children and they loved her visits so much. Rita loved her family with all her heart, and she made sure to show that love to them every day of her life. To know Rita was to love her. She was such a very kind and loving person with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. Her greatest wish each day was to see those she loved live life in true happiness.
