Jackson State holds press conference for Womens and Mens Basketball teams
Earlier today Jackson state community college held a press conference for its
men and womens basketball teams. New players had the opportunity to talk
about getting adjusted, along with the team chemistry and expectations for the season.
The lady GreenJays were voted third in the preseason poll while the men’s team is returning two players from
last season. Both coaches spoke on their excitement with a new campaign ahead of them.
we got a lot of different players that can do alot of various things out on the basketball floor
so will be very versatile very talented so just come out and make sure you watch us
and support us this season.”
Cates stated “So its a little bit of you get a bunch of guys that are talented in a room a lot of guys that think that their the top dog
some would say start get a little head butting so its been a little chippy in practice early in the year and as that starts to thin out and everybody gets on the same page were gone be really good.”
18th and the men’s team will scrimmage on the 18th as well.
