LIFELINE Blood Services Announces Annual Vein Drain Blood Drive

Dyersburg, TN: Lifeline Blood Services is thrilled to announce its Annual Vein Drain event, set to take place on Saturday, October 25th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 1130 Highway 51 Bypass, Suite 19 & 20.

Jackson, TN: In addition, the Jackson, TN, Lifeline Blood Services location will host its Vein Drain on Thursday, October 30th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lifeline Blood Services 183 Sterling Farms Drive in Jackson, TN.

Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager at LIFELINE Blood Services, expressed her excitement, saying, “Our donors love the Vein Drain; it’s our most anticipated blood drive of the year and this year will be no different with our Ghostbusters inspired “Who Ya Gonna Save” theme. We look forward to having a spooktacular time while saving lives!”

Every donor will receive a commemorative Vein Drain t-shirt and a Chick-Fil-A coupon. Additionally, every donor will have a chance to enter to win a pair of roundtrip vouchers to fly free with Denver Air Connection – Jackson Regional Airport. A total of 13 pairs will be given away between the Jackson and Dyersburg Centers.  

Lifeline Blood Services operates from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday in Jackson, TN. The Dyersburg, TN location is open Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday – Tuesday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Wednesday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Walk-ins are always welcome. Lifeline Blood Services is one of the nation’s oldest blood centers. Established in Jackson, Tennessee in 1947, Lifeline provides blood products to Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Servicing hospitals, rehabilitation centers, children’s hospitals, cancer centers, air ambulance services and ground ambulance services. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients.
