Home2 Suites by Hilton kicks off ‘Socktober’ campaign in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Home2 Suites by Hilton is hosting their annual “Socktober” campaign here in Jackson. Socks wear out faster then any other article of clothing, because of this, homeless and poor populations struggle most especially during the colder months.

“There are so many people in Jackson that do need this; and again, it’s starting to get cold so, it’s a perfect time to reach out and donate. We’re focusing on socks, but we would also take coats, hats–anything that we need to help keep our homeless community a little warmer this season,” said Felicia Price, general manager for Home2 Suites of Hilton.

Residents are encouraged to donate socks at 40 Old Medina Crossing, near exit 83.

You can drop off anytime of the day until, October 31st.
