Jackson Habitat for Humanity holds groundbreaking to celebrate 110th house
JACKSON, Tenn. — Earlier Tuesday, Habitat for Humanity in Jackson celebrated the groundbreaking of their 110th house.
They plan for the home to be complete by the end of the year.
We spoke with the CEO Adam Johnson who tells us how the habitat provides for the local community.
“We step in with folks who are at a place in their lives where house affordability is a challenge. But obviously we believe that housing and human shelter is a human right. We are able to come along side them and build a house that is very affordable for them when it comes to their monthly payment,” said Johnson.
