Funeral service for Luther Wardell Luton, age 78, will be Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Cawthon Cemetery, Hookers Bend, TN.

Mr. Luton died Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Visitation for Mr. Luton will be Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.  Mr. Luton will lie-in-state at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
