Colder Mornings Ahead, Pleasant Afternoons

We’ll start to feel the effects of the front that moved through late last night as temperatures will drop into the lower 40s overnight. Winds will calm some from the 30 mph gusts of the afternoon, but the night will still be breezy with west northwest winds around 5 to 10 mph. The breezy winds and lower 40s will make for some jacket wearing weather over the next couple of mornings. It looks like most of any rain will hold off until around Sunday of the Weekend.
Temperatures will hover just above normal to just below normal at times this week and winds will calm some as the center of high moves our way. Chilly mornings and pleasant afternoons can be expected.
We may have some thunder on Sunday but right now, it doesn’t look severe for the Weekend and models have been slowing the system down some meaning instead of rain on Friday or Saturday, It is looking more toward Sunday in the latest data.
