Unmatched Reach: Memphis Safe Task Force Delivers Justice For Victims

Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the arrest of Kevin L.  Brown, 23, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Brown was taken into custody on one count of First Degree Murder and two counts of Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a  Dangerous Felony.  

Following a thorough investigation, Task Force members developed actionable intelligence  that led authorities to a motel in Clarksville. Today, United States Marshals from the Middle  District of Tennessee Fugitive Task Force successfully identified and located Brown. He  was apprehended in the morning of October 22nd without incident and transported to a local  detention facility.  

According to local media reports, Brown had been wanted since March 26, 2025 in  connection with the fatal shooting of a Memphis rapper and the injury of another individual. 

United States Marshal Tyreece Miller, for the Western District of Tennessee, stated:  

“The Memphis Safe Task Force operates with precision, speed, and an unlimited reach,  there is no safe haven for violent offenders, no matter where they attempt to hide.”  

This arrest underscores the Task Force’s continued commitment to high-impact enforcement  and interagency collaboration in the pursuit of justice and community safety.
