Ribbon cutting held for sober living house in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Greater Jackson Chamber held a dedication for the Men of Hope Sober Living House Thursday.

The event took place on Luray Road in Beech Bluff.

Hope Recovery is a free, nonprofit, 12-month, faith-based residential program that helps men and women who need freedom from addiction and abuse.

They have mentoring, counseling, and classes that help their addiction, self-esteem, mental health through Jesus Christ, physical health, faith and much more.

“This a protected place–a safe place for men to recover. We had the same thing in Medon for our women, and that is what they need while they are obtaining their sobriety, and we believe that is by the power of Jesus Christ. There’s nothing other that can work and override our own willpower to sustain that for a length of time,” said Lisa Clements, executive board member and Hope Store coordinator for the Women of Hope.

This new center aims to be a place where men can find strength, healing, and restoration through God’s grace.
