Hardeman Adoptable Animals hosts its annual March of Dogs
BOLIVAR, Tenn.—One local community has a family friendly event for pets throughout West Tennessee.
Hardeman Adoptable Animals presents the 20th annual March of Dogs Parade & Pet Costume Contest Saturday in Bolivar.
Guest could enjoy music, food trucks, carnival rides, and a free costume contest for pets. In celebration of HAA’s 20th year, the theme is the Roaring Twenties, with participants encouraged to dress as flappers, gangsters, or vintage icons.
The parade began at 10:30 a.m. at 913 W. Market Street in Bolivar.
“Well, I like it because I get to dress up the dog in costume. This is Sally, she’s been at the shelter for about 5 or 6 years,” said Scarlett, March of Dogs contestant.
The event was free and open to the public.
