George’s Flowers reopens in Trenton

TRENTON, Tenn.—A small business in Gibson County reopens its doors.

George’s Flowers in Trenton recently celebrated its grand reopening with a ribbon cutting. The celebration was more than just a business opening its doors again to the public, but the passing along of a torch.

The shop, located in the Davy Crockett Shopping Center, was opened for many years in Trenton and operated by Mrs. Jewel Hardaway. Hardaway recently sold the business, turning over the keys to a special family member, her beloved granddaughter.

The grand reopening event of George’s Flowers celebrates Mia Grace Hardaway Cantrell, the new owner who will be carrying on the city’s longtime business and continued investment in the local community.

Friends, family, and community members gathered to celebrate the joyous event.
