All funds will go to the “Take Your Girls Night Out,” which financially assists West Tennessee women currently fighting breast cancer.

Here’s how the fundraiser assist women throughout the region.

“The Take Your Girls Night Out fund helps women financially that are currently battling breast cancer. So, anyone that needs help with an electric bill, if they need car work done, if they need a new washer and dryer–we help them up to $1,000,” said Maigan Smith, assistant administrator for the Women’s Clinic PA.

Whether you came to run, walk, or simply show off your favorite Halloween character, several guests came out to show their support in recognition of breast cancer awareness.

“This is my 6th year and this is my biggest year as far as registrations go. I’m so excited to have such a big turnout. Of course, this year is Star Wars so I don’t know if that made any difference, but we’re really excited to kind of throw that in there and make it about hope which is what Star Wars is about,” said Smith.
