FHU Athletics website voted 5th Best in the NAIA
PRESS RELEASE FROM BRAMBLETT GROUP:
FHU Athletics Website Voted 5th Best in the NAIA
Henderson, Tennessee – (Oct. 29, 2025) – For the second time, the NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest has named Freed-Hardeman University’s athletics website, GoFHULions.com, one of the top digital media productions in the NAIA. After ranking No. 8 in 2024, the website rose to No. 5 in 2025, illustrating FHU’s high standards of athletic excellence, whether in playing, coaching or information sharing.

FHU Sports Information Director Dustin Semore is the driving force responsible for building and maintaining GoFHULions.com. With help from SIDEARM Sports, Semore spent all of the summer of 2023 designing the site, aiming to create a space that is both user friendly and visually appealing.
“One of the things I try to do with maintaining the website is imagining I’m a generic fan,” Semore said. “I will see how easy it is to find information about a certain game, a certain player or even a certain season. I love being able to say, ‘If I were a fan, it would be really nice if XYZ…’ and then being able to make it happen.”
All websites submitted for consideration were judged by members of the NAIA-Sports Information Directors Association (SIDA) Publications Committee and were evaluated in the categories of content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience. Bonus points were awarded for successful brand integration, overall appeal and creative extras.
During an average 30-day span, the website has seen 61,000 active users on GoFHULions.com, 1,311 active users on StatBroadcast and 4,829 total loads of Lion Digital Network content.
Despite the site’s recent successes and recognitions, Semore has responded with humility, keeping focus on FHU’s athletes. “With my unique path to this career, I still have a bit of impostor syndrome,” he shared. “The website awards are a bit of validation that I am able to make sure these student-athletes are getting the exposure they deserve at as high a level as possible.”
