Young man’s death prompts investigation

ALAMO, Tenn. – Alamo Police Chief Jeff Sills is leading a general death investigation into the recent cardiac arrest of a 26-year-old male, who was pronounced dead on October 28, 2025, at a local hospital.

Officials identified the 26-year-old as Kristopher Castleman.

In response to this tragic event, the Alamo Police Department is undertaking a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Crockett County Medical Examiner’s office has ordered an autopsy, which will provide critical information regarding the cause and manner of death.

Chief Sills stated, “Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. We are interested to know the cause and manner of his death and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.”

The Alamo Police Department is working closely with the Crockett County Medical Examiner’s Office, along with the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office, and encourages anyone with relevant information about the case to call 731-696-2104.
