Amaryllis Sale Scheduled for November 11 at UT Gardens, Jackson
Shop Amaryllis Bulbs, Perennials and More

JACKSON, Tenn. – Browse more than 500 amaryllis bulbs across 26 varieties at the University of Tennessee Gardens, Jackson’s, annual Amaryllis Sale. This free event is open to the public and will be held on November 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center.

Each bulb is shipped directly from Holland and makes an excellent holiday gift or a way to brighten your home during the winter months. Attendees can also shop an assortment of trees, shrubs, conifers, perennials and other plants perfect for fall gardening. Select trees will be buy two, get one free.

“Amaryllis are easy to grow, with long stems and large, vibrant flowers that are sure to impress,” says Jason Reeves, curator of UT Gardens, Jackson. “You won’t want to miss the chance to add these to your collection or share a little brightness with friends and loved ones this season.”

Amaryllis bulbs are $22 each including tax, and come with an instructional card to help you care for your new selections. All proceeds benefit the upkeep of UT Gardens, Jackson, and its ongoing mission to provide hundreds of varieties of plants for public enjoyment, community education and horticultural research.

A presale will be held November 10 from noon to 3 p.m. for UT Gardens members only. Nonmembers who wish to shop early can join at the presale or online at utgardens.tennessee.edu/support/membership.
