Chickasaw State Park hosts ‘costume hike’
CHESTER COUTY, Tenn. — Hikers put on their best costumes and hit the trail Friday.

Ranger Fox at the Chickasaw State Park hosted a costume hike Friday morning at the walking bridge for a half mile hike on Lake Shore Trail.

Attendees were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
“We have a half-mile hike, which will take 30 minutes to 40 minutes around Lake Loop trail. We’ll be doing it throughout the day until we close at 10. We do hikes, birds of prey programs, and we are starting to get set up for our Christmas lights in December,” said Lindsey Fox, park ranger.
Candy was also handed out to the hikers.
