WRAP hosts Safe Hope Center trunk or treat

JACKSON, Tenn. — WRAP held their Safe Hope Center trunk or treat Friday.

This is their second year hosting the event. In addition to giving kids in the community somewhere safe to go, organizers explain the purpose behind the trunk or treat.

“Getting out in the community, letting people know we’re here. You know, give them somewhere safe and reliable to come bring their children. They just have a good ole time,” said Ashley Horton, senior domestic violence specialist.

This event finishes out their Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and next they will be gearing up for the Christmas parade.
